This place is absolutely amazing! The tour was awesome and seeing the caverns up close was truly a sight to be seen. If you're in the area or driving through, do yourself a favor and stop at this gem.

A different experience compared to luray caverns. A little smaller, less commercialised more natural formations. Felt closer to nature. Grass all around. Calm and beautiful. Super friendly staff. This cavern has a elevator and easily accessible for elderly. The cavern itself looks more natural. Lots of curves and narrow passages within.the American celebration (presidential parade decorations) is a nice colorful place to see. The cavern had the smallest post office :)

Very impressive. Can get slightly old near end of tour, but would recommend nonetheless.

Chose this over Luray Caverns just because it was close to where we were staying, but glad we did. Great tour and not too busy in September. Loved the caverns-beautiful and amazing! Your cavern tour ticket also gets you entry into the Americana museum and some other attractions.

Very well organized and the wait between tours is not long. One can browse the store, or grab a quick bite at the in-store mini restaurant. There's also an upstairs that has old parade memorabilia. The caverns are fascinating and the temp is cool, but really not too bad ... bring a light jacket of you're susceptible to cold. The tour guides are young but generally friendly and open to questions. Read up a bit before going. The surrounding grounds have additional parade memorabilia and there's also a play area for kids outside "the Big Yellow Barn".

Some spaces have very low ceilings, so take note of that if you consider yourself tall.
